Deathblight RPG Update: Beta 1 Public Version

Hello everyone!
Today we're releasing Deathblight RPG - Operation Thunderfang Beta 1 for everyone!
This version includes Ferania's bouncer job at a strip club, which consists of a minigame and new CG scenes. Those CG scenes vary depending on Ferania's corruption level, so have fun with that mechanic ;)

As always, please do NOT use old save files, as those will break the game!
Use the ones provided in the zip-file instead.

Save1: Boss fight dungeon 1
Save2: Dungeon 2 entrance
Save3: Catheline upcoming
Save4: Catheline rescues Ferania and Minori
Save5: Boss fight dungeon 2

And if you enjoyed Ferania's bouncer job, you can find beta 2 with Minori's job at the maid café over at our Patreon ;3

Also if you have any questions or bugs to report, please leave us a comment here or contact us on our Discord server.

Now with DB RPG beta 1 publicly released, and beta 2 online on Patreon, we can now focus on our work on Deathblight Guilty Raid again so we can release the demo version soon.
The demo version will be available for everyone, so you don't have to be a Patron in order to play it.
Until next time, folks!

  1. Awesome! I have been looking forward to your work for a long time!

  2. Is it normal that going full screen kind of stretches the picture out?
Or is that a resolution problem on my end?

    1. Yes that's normal.
It depends on your desktop resolution.
RPG Maker VX Ace has limits around 640 x 480, so going full screen stretches the image.
If you set your desktop resolution to something like 1280 x 960 or something it's still "streched" but at least the ratio is being kept.

  3. So... is DBGR ever going to come out or... another hope dashed to pieces?

    1. Yes, DB Guilty Raid will come out ^^
Please understand though that DB Guilty Raid is a project where we depend on a writer and a pixel artist and other teammembers to do their share of the work.

If just one of them has issues making progress (which is currently the case) things will be delayed.

I can only say that the project will be done once it's done.
No one but me has any stakes in this as I funded it all by myself so you can bet that I'm interested in getting this done and not wasting several thousands of dollars on "nothing".

It will be released once it's ready ^^

    2. I had only asked because i had never seen any updates here or otherwise on it, not even statuses so i was curious. Most H-game artists get to a certain point and then dissapear without a trace so i was hoping one of my favorite projects had not done the same. Keep up at your own pace, thats fine, i prefer quality to pace (as i do in my own work as well)

    3. No worries, I know the struggle ^^"

By that I mean, artists and folks you rely on slowing down, or artists disappearing all of a sudden etc.
(noone disappeared on this project though, just generally speaking)

It becomes a real problem when you work on a project where you need different skillsets and multiple people, and even one causing a problem can temporarily stop an entire project.

At any rate, I intend to pull this one through even if it takes a while ^^
So I hope you look forward to it!
      Thank you very much.

  4. It's been almost three months since your last update on this page. Could you please post something public so I know to keep checking?
