Annual character popularity poll (for 2019)

Hello everyone!
This is the public annual character popularity vote.
We also posted this one on our Patreon, but we figured it might be interesting to see if there are differences between characters in the public vote and the Patreon vote. (We usually do this)
As always on the yearly vote, you can vote for multiple characters.

Progress Report (December 2019)




Hello everyone!
Here's the last progress update for this year.


Deathblight RPG:
Progresses smoothly at the usual pace.
A new CG is WIP now, as you can see above.


Deathblight Guilty Raid:

All the art for the demo is done, but unfortunately there are still a lot of bugs to fix which is why there won't be a release this year anymore.
We'll make sure to work at it full speed next year, since we're celebrating christmas and won't work for that time.
But like we said a couple times before, the demo will be handed out to patrons and non-patrons alike, so nothing lost there.
Plus this game is not Patreon funded. Just to remind you of that.
We simply want everyone to enjoy the game^^

Progress Report for DBGR (November 2019)


Hello everyone!
Here's a new progress update for Deathblight Guilty Raid.


We're currently in the playtesting phase for the demo and it works nicely for the most part.
Unfortunately we encountered a good couple bugs and there also were some balancing issues, so we are currently working on bug fixing and rebalancing the game to make it enjoyable to play.
A buggy demo just wouldn't leave a good impression and also wouldn't be fun to play. So it's better to sit down again and fix the issues before the release.

Well, good thing is that the demo will be available for everyone simultaneously, not just Patrons. So it's not required to be a Patron in order to play it once the demo get's released (like we often said in the past, it's not Patreon funded anyways.)

And that's all for now.

Some goat demons also have bazookas.
And then there are those pesky starfish-ghost things that will swarm you.
Good thing there is a skill to push all enemies off you.
Another neat skill. Trap cards! Will explode if enemies walk on them. 

Or a big spinning card. Nice thing to throw into a bunch of enemies.
(There will be even more skills to unlock)

Deathblight RPG Update: Beta 1 Public Version


Hello everyone!
Today we're releasing Deathblight RPG - Operation Thunderfang Beta 1 for everyone!
This version includes Ferania's bouncer job at a strip club, which consists of a minigame and new CG scenes. Those CG scenes vary depending on Ferania's corruption level, so have fun with that mechanic ;)

As always, please do NOT use old save files, as those will break the game!
Use the ones provided in the zip-file instead.

Progress Report July DB RPG

 Hello everyone!

Here's another update for Deathblight RPG:



As you can see, the last CG and the graphics for Minoris minigame at her maid job are done.
So what's left to do now is implementation of the artworks as well as playtesting (for 1 week or longer, depending on if we find any major bugs) to make sure everything works smoothly.
Which means beta 2 is soon to be released!

The next post on here is most likely going to be about the next version release of DB RPG as well as making Beta 1 available on here.

Progress Report DBRPG and DBGR

Hello everyone!

Sorry for not posting another progress update sooner.
We were way too absorbed into work that we didn't remember to post more often.



Deathblight RPG:

As you can see, the first part of Minori's high curruption scene is coloured (only variations missing) and the second part of it is basecoloured already (not the final colours though).
So what's left to do there is wrap up those 2 CGs and draw the Minori minigame graphics.


Deathblight Guilty Raid:

Unfortunately the texts for the CGs still need editing, which slows down the progress since the text is needed first in order to draw the CG.
But one CG scene is done now! Complete with variations and all^^
Also as you can see, the CGs for DB Guilty Raid are a good bit wider than the ones drawn for DBRPG.  In fact they will have a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel.
The wider and bigger resolution though also means it took a bit longer to draw the CG scene than expected. Originally we thought it would take roughly 1 to 1,5 work days to get one done, but this one took 2 full days. So it's to be expected that the other CGs will also take about 2 full workdays each.


And that's about it for now.

Hello!
Here's another small progress update.




Deathblight RPG:
As you can see, the lineart of the first part of Minori's game over CG scene (which only triggers when Minori hits max corruption) is lined already, and the second part of the scene is sketched.
Those are the last CGs missing, but Cres also still needs to do some small graphics for the minigame, like we did with Ferania's bouncer job.
But those shouldn't take too long to make.

Once the CGs and the minigame graphics are done, they need to get implemented which may also takes a bit time, and a bit more time on top of that to test the whole build. (We usually take 1 week for testing and bugfixing, though please keep in mind that it might take longer than that if a big bug appears. After all we want to present a new release as bugfree as possible).

But as you can see, we are about to get to the finish line for beta 2!

Next update will be in about 1-2 weeks, about Deathblight Guilty Raid.
We're working as quickly as possible on the demo release, which will be a public release.
