Thanks to everyone who is supporting us, we can dedicate more time to game development and create the content you all love ^^
New playable updates will be released every couple months on Subscribestar (link above), until the full release on Steam in 2025, for which we partnered up with Shady Corner Games, who will handle the Steam release for us!
Check out their website for other games they published:
https://shadycorner.com/
There will be an updated demo version with some graphical adjustments (tileset etc) sometime before the full release in 2025.
Otherwise the content reflects the final game accurately.
Especially in regards to gameplay mechanics, hentai artworks, voice acting, and writing.
Shoutout to OolayTiger for voicing Loki:

As for our next steps:
We plan to add new areas to the game, one region to the south, and one to the east of the village.
Both areas will of course contain new enemies with hentai CGs.
What the full game will contain:
- one heroine only (Loki)
- 3 areas (e.g. 3 dungeons)
- 6 in-combat hentai CGs with variations
- 6 game over hentai CG scenes
- 4 event CG scenes
The scope of the project is intentionally kept to a manageable level for Cres and me (Wolf) to handle, as we are avoiding any big projects that require multiple people for the time being.
Once done, we will move on to the next game project, finish that one, and then get to the next etc.
Our idea is to create multiple, average-sized RPG Maker MV projects for the years to come.
Finishing one game after the other and releasing it in full before moving on to the next.
This should allow us to avoid problems of the past for various reasons.
It does come at the "cost" of only having one heroine per game and keeping the scope more reasonable to ensure we can finish games relatively quickly.
Future games may increase in scope, and thus could take longer to be completed.
But the current plan is to keep it down and not do anything too ambituous, which explains the smaller game scope compared to projects of the past.

OH MAN! cannot wait for the full release.
ReplyDeletelove you guys and your art so hopefully this goes well and keep on the great work and the art of your beautiful girl's.
Glad to see this out! The character design on Loki is great and the RPG vibe is there. I do have a concern with combat balancing in the game (specifically action economy) after trying the demo. While I do applaud taking a step back and making the hard choice that having more heroines was beyond the team's current capabilities, the demo is now showing a consequence of that choice. The best example is the fight against the goblin shaman in which it's the Shaman and 4 other goblin groups that you go up against. It's a 1 v 5 scenario. 5 actions vs your 1, and it seems at least every other turn, one of them is going to do a grab which will then effectively shut down your subsequent turns. Even if you managed to use Paralysis on one, chances are there is going to be another also doing the grab or a disarm at the same time. It just felt like kind of a slog rather a satisfying boss encounter.
ReplyDeleteThat was really the only concern I gleamed from this demo. I'm not sure how big of a scale you're shooting for in this game but even from this demo alone, it's easily noticeable how much time and effort went into it. Looking forward to how the game develops and it's inevitable release.
I'm glad to hear you like it!
DeleteOverall, that action economy is basically "why" it's a boss fight and why it's harder than the other fights.
An alternative boss-fight version I thought about was making the Shaman stronger (more HP and all) but that would have just drawn the fight out longer.
Instead of making it more difficult.
So I decided that this was the only 5 vs 1 fight with a Shaman leading the pack.
Making that the disadvantageous action economy the defining factor and in conclusion, the most difficult fight of the caverns.
Thank you very much for the feedback! ^^
